Refund & Cancellation

​At alka Nainital Bookings, we strive to make your booking process as smooth as possible. Since we operate as an Independent Booking Agency, our cancellation and refund policies are aligned with the terms of Hotel Alka The Lakeside.

​1. How to Request a Cancellation

​All cancellation requests must be sent to us in writing via WhatsApp or Email. The date and time we receive your message will be considered the official cancellation time.

​2. Standard Cancellation Charges

​As an independent agent, we follow the hotel's specific timeline. Generally, the charges are as follows:

​15 Days or More before check-in: 10% of the total booking amount will be charged as a processing fee.

​7 to 14 Days before check-in: 50% of the total booking amount will be charged.

​Less than 7 Days before check-in: No refund will be provided (100% cancellation charge).

​No Show: In case you do not arrive at the hotel, no refund will be issued.

​3. Non-Refundable Service Fee

​Please note that Rizwan Nainital Bookings charges a small Service/Consultancy Fee for our personalized booking assistance. This fee is strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

​4. Refunds for Natural Calamities

​Nainital is prone to heavy rains and landslides. In case of government-declared road closures or natural disasters:

​We will coordinate with the hotel to provide a Credit Note for a future stay.

​Cash refunds in such cases are subject to the hotel management's final approval.

​5. Refund Processing Time

​Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7 to 10 working days to your original payment method.
